Smack Family Update: Newest Clubs

Join us in welcoming the 5 newest members of the #smackfamily: Mill City Volleyball Club, Austin Volleyball Academy, Clarksville Volleyball Club, T3 Volleyball, and 435 Elite Volleyball Club.

The boys and girls of Mill City Volleyball Club will be wearing Smack Sportswear sublimated jerseys this year. Mill City is one of the most competitive volleyball clubs across the New England and Northeast Region. Based in Lowell, MA, they are just the second all-volleyball building in all of New England and are committed to growing the game throughout the region. Mill City aims to instill the values of teamwork, spirit, and sportsmanship in their male and female athletes.

“We are extremely excited about partnering with a company like Smack Sportswear,” said Matthew Bynon, MCVC Club Director. “We love the idea of a volleyball driven apparel company who can get us top of the line gear in a very timely manor. The personable connection that Bill and his staff create makes growing clubs like Mill City extremely exciting. We look forward to growing together and cannot wait to see what the future holds for both!”

Austin Volleyball Academy will also be joining the #smackfamily for the upcoming season. Their beach and indoor teams are a dominant force in the very competitive Texas Region. AVA seeks to prepare athletes with the most comprehensive mental, physical and fundamental training techniques that will help ensure their success on the volleyball court and in life.

Fun fact–AVA is run by Adam Johnson, one of the all time greats on the AVP in the 90’s. In 2 years, he played in 48 tournaments and was in the top two in over half of them! Funnily enough, Smack CEO, Bill Sigler, has had this autographed picture of Adam hanging in the Smack office. Next to it is a picture of Adam from a tournament. One thing’s for sure–the kids at AVA aren’t lacking any coaching knowledge!

Clarksville Volleyball Club provides a competitive, fun, and positive learning environment for youth volleyball players near Clarksville, Tennessee. They aim to  prepare athletes for the next level of volleyball, whatever that is for each individual athlete, by focusing on developing the whole student athlete; mental, physical and social. Their coaches focus on developing strong volleyball fundamentals, integrity, teamwork and competition.

Club Director of Clarksville VBC, Jen Garinger, said, “Clarksville Volleyball Club couldn’t be more excited to team up with Smack Sportswear!!!” We’re looking forward to spreading our SoCal vibe throughout Tennessee.

T3 Volleyball aims to increase the number of highly competitive volleyball players in the Northern Idaho Region. With a focus on the technical, tactical, and teamwork, T3 was created out of a belief that hard work, quality coaching, organization, and being active in the local community would create a superior club experience for the local youth in the region. Smack appreciates that T3 emphasizes the development of fundamental skills as a player, learning to work together as a team, and personal habits and choices that will lead to success in every aspect of life.

Finally, 435 Elite Volleyball Club is our newest member of the #smackfamily. Located in Utah, it will be the club’s first season. Smack is excited to help welcome 435 Elite into the volleyball community by ensuring they are prepared to perform in the latest, high quality volleyball jerseys and accessories.
