Smack Launches Uniform Builder
It’s finally here! Smack Sportswear is excited to announce the launch of our new, high-tech Uniform Builder. This online uniform designer allows volleyball coaches, players, or club directors to create their own custom volleyball jerseys and team uniforms online, in real time, and then see their designs come to life. Smack Sportswear’s uniform builder not only allows you to create custom uniforms, but also to share designs and maintain team rosters and order–all in one simple and streamlined online process.
Bill Sigler, the CEO of Smack Sportswear, believes the new uniform builder will revolutionize the business through minimal steps and ease of use. “We researched online designers from other apparel companies, as well as gained a lot of feedback from what our customers wanted. We spent 2 years developing this system in order for it to be the best. We tried to make it as easy as possible to navigate, but also include all the steps neccessary to allow us to process orders without having to contact the customer with numerous questions.”
The automation of the uniform builder allows for a much more efficient operating system, with less opportunity for error and a faster turnaround time for customers. Smack estimates that this process will reduce production and delivery times by up to 25%, and can allow for the delivery of some sublimated jersey items in about 2 weeks. He explains, “We can basically take the order doc and art files resulting from the customer/rep entering all the info, and immediately hand it over to our production team to process without any extra steps. In years past, from order creation to actual production tooks days and touched numerous staff which in turn could cause errors.”
To place an order, you will first select a garment and template. Sublimated garments have over 50 color options for the different panels on the jersey. Next, you choose the desired sleeve style, collar style, and fabric. From there, you can add and place logos, names, numbers, and more–with selections of over a dozen fonts. Once you have designed and are satisfied with your garment, you can upload your roster sheet and confirm the order.
