What Is Sublimation?

Sublimation is a chemical process where a solid turns into a gas without going through a liquid stage. Sublimation printing permeates fabric for an extremely vibrant look and soft feel. The effects are permanent and less prone to fading, as the ink is embedded in the fabric. This is different from other printing techniques, such as inkjet and laser printing, which spray liquid ink so it lays on top of the fabric. Also, with screenprinting or heat press, you pay by the print — so if you want two logos, a player name, and numbers on the jersey, you will pay a fee for each. With sublimation, on the other hand, your options are unlimited with no upcharge.
